Our target groups are financial and sales professionals across all hierarchy levels up to c-level executives. In doing so, we move within specifically selected business fields: construction & real estate, Banking and Commercial Professionals and Executives.

But we offer much more, because we consult our clients on all topics related to the current candidate market situation and its constant state of change, competitive salary packages and employer branding.

Christian Dörr is the managing director of Christian Dörr Headhunting GmbH. After his training as a banker, he evolved to become a savings bank specialist aswell as specialist for consulting and recruitment (IHK).

The former high-performance athlete (800m runner, TSV Bayer 04 Leverkusen/athletics), founded the company in 2018 after working many years as a sales specialist in several industries. Mr. Dörr not only deals with all strategic topics of his company but still works himself as a recruitment consultant to stick close to the business. He is passionate about consulting his clients, their satisfaction is his top priority. In doing so, he always acts honestly, straightforwardly and always with an eye for the big picture.

Sam Honarvar joined Christian Dörr Headhunting GmbH in August 2021 as a Manager, responsible for the company’s operational business. He also supports the management regarding strategic issues.

Sam is the main point of contact for all recruiting specialist and management positions within the real estate & construction industry, with a focus on technical, commercial, and financial positions. Sam brings years of experience, specialized industry knowledge and a buildup of a large network with him, both on the client and candidate side. Holding a Senior Consultant position within a on Construction & Real Estate specialized multinational recruitment company, Sam has experience with small & large engineering offices.

as well as National & International operation organizations medium-sized companies to corporations. Sam has a track record of recruiting multiple mid-senior and senior level roles within the construction and real estate industry. Sam holds a MBA from Rheinische Fachhochschule Köln (University of Applied Science) in Cologne. He speaks three languages: German (native), English (fluent) and Farsi (native).

Marcel Becker joined Christian Dörr Headhunting GmbH in November 2018 as a recruitment consultant. In addition, he is also responsible for the entire IT-Infrastructure of the company.

At the beginning of his professional career, Mr. Becker completed an apprenticeship as a logistics specialist (IHK) and subsequently worked for more than ten years in a medium-sized trading company in a leading role. His focus since has been on directsearch as well as the acquisition and building up a client network within the technical and commercial field.

Due to his authenticity and commitment, Mr. Becker is highly appreciated by both, clients and candidates.

Pia Scharbach joined Christian Dörr Headhunting GmbH in November 2022 as a Senior Recruitment Consultant. She is focused on recruiting professionals and executives within the real estate industry and the construction sector. Her core competence lies in the areas of direct search & executive search as well as establishing a long-term customer relationship. Her clients are mainly construction companies, project developers as well as consulting engineers of medium-sized companies.

In addition, Ms. Scharbach is responsible for the establishment and development of the banking sector with a focus on the cooperative sector. Ms. Scharbach gained her knowledge and experience in a specialized and reputable recruitment consultancy.

Ms. Scharbach is valued for her absolute transparency, authentic appearance and communicative openness in dealing with her clients and candidates in order to achieve sustainable and optimal placements.

After graduating from high school with a degree in economics, she completed an apprenticeship as a wholesale and export merchant in order to lay the commercial foundation. Ms. Scharbach is fluent in Business English and also has knowledge of Spanish and French.

With over 5 years of professional experience in recruiting and executive search, both nationally and internationally, André Gottschalk has specialized in positions in investment and asset management as well as in real estate finance. During this time, he was able to acquire in-depth industry knowledge as well as develop a deep understanding of market challenges and opportunities. Expertise spans a variety of clientele, with particular focus on investment boutiques, family offices and mid-market companies in a pan-European environment. Caterina de Groot joined Christian Dörr Headhunting GmbH in February 2023 and is responsible for establishing and developing the company’s focus on finance and accounting for professionals and executives. She has more than 5 years of work experience in sales as well as in recruiting professionals in the field of finance, tax and controlling. She gained these in international companies and was most recently in the role of Team Leader Sales at a leading recruitment agency. Her roots are in tourism, she graduated from the IUBH in Düsseldorf with a focus on tourism management. Clients as well as candidates appreciate her always professional and appreciative way of working. She attaches great importance to honest communication and goal-oriented exchange at all levels.

Ms. Berger holds a degree in psychology, has many years of experience in potential diagnostics and is also a successful teacher, coach, trainer and helps teams to improve their interpersonal relationship. Through her years of experience within this field, she is familiar with potential new employees selection process from both perspective and is highly skilled in integrating both perspectives into her work.

Empathy as well as solution and resource orientation are very important to Ms. Berger in her work. In addition, clients appreciate her overall view of the big picture as well as her consistency and structure.
